Our BIO olive strap is a special innovative strap. The strap itself was handmade by us in the Bavarian Forest, like all our other straps, with great attention to detail. The special thing about the olive band is the type of leather. The
Olive Leather
is tanned completely chemical-free, the only ingredient Thomas Lamparter uses here are olive leaves, which are a by-product of the Mediterranean olive harvest anyway. Tanning with olive leather even reduces the normal Co2 consumption, because the leaves do not have to be burned as usual.
We can wholeheartedly say we love leather and are convinced that it is the most sustainable material mankind has had for thousands of years anyway, our olive leather straps are perhaps even more so.
