Yes, they still exist: genuine handcrafted work in Germany!

Who we are

We are FLUCO – a family business from the Upper Palatinate region of Germany. We have been manufacturing watch straps in Germany since 1952. The company has been managed by Ulrich Fleischmann for over three decades.

What we do

We produce high-quality watch straps – entirely by hand and 100% in Furth im Wald. No outsourcing, no compromises.

Because we manufacture ourselves, we can regulate, control and guarantee quality at every step.

What sets us apart

Many retailers sell bracelets from anonymous mass production abroad. They often don't even know which tannery the upper leather comes from or what chemicals are used in it. Not to mention the lining leather.

And what adhesives, inserts, or other materials were used in the bracelet? Most people have absolutely no idea about that.

Things are different here:

We handcraft each bracelet ourselves – from the first cut to the last stitch. We use only leather from select German, French, and Italian tanneries, as well as genuine shell cordovan from the USA.

And we know every single material in the book: leather, adhesives, nonwovens, linings, yarns. Everything is traceable, everything consciously selected. All materials are regularly and independently tested for harmful substances.

Even our clasps come from Germany – from the metal manufactory Craiss, the last German manufacturer of watch strap clasps.

What we stand for

For quality, transparency, and genuine craftsmanship. No mass-produced goods, no disposable products. Only bracelets that last, function, and look good.

What you can expect

Technically sound, durable watch straps. Fair production, honest materials, transparent origin. Handmade in Germany that truly lives up to its name.

The satisfaction of our customers is the guiding principle of everything we do.

Story

4th generation in the company

Since 2021, Ludwig Fleischmann , representing the fourth generation, has represented the company and continues the family tradition with new impetus. Ulrich Fleischmann continues to lead the company, now together with his son, who brings fresh energy and a future-oriented approach to the brand.

Quality since 1952

With this claim, Fluco has been manufacturing fine watch straps 100% in Germany since 1952. Ulrich Fleischmann is the third generation to run the factory that his grandfather, a fine leather maker, founded over 70 years ago in Furth im Wald.

Deeply rooted in the Bavarian Forest, where values such as durability and appreciation are not empty words, the family business takes the term "honorable craftsmanship" literally - there is no room for appearances here. Fluco offers luxury that is not dictated by price.

The highest standards of quality begin with the transparent selection of leather. For example, the Alran tannery from France, the Haas tannery from France, and the Perlinger tannery, also from Furth im Wald, are among the family company's suppliers. When it comes to Cordovan products, Fluco takes the leap across the pond: the fine hides come from the Horween tannery in Chicago, a well-established name and seal of quality.

Carefully selected leathers as well as numerous colors and embossings, coupled with a high standard of quality, make the watch straps pieces of jewelry that underline the individuality of their owner.
