Description
This bracelet is more than an accessory—it's a piece of Bavarian heritage. Crafted from genuine Lederhosen leather , that is, deerskin tanned in the traditional way from German red deer, the same leather used for centuries to make the finest Lederhosen. Soft, breathable, with a distinctive feel—and a charisma that only this leather can offer.
What's special: Our deer leather comes from the world's last tannery that still masters the traditional , ancient Sami tanning process . And that's a crucial difference:
-
Chamois-tanned leather (as most people know it) is easier, faster and cheaper to produce.
-
Old chamois-tanned leather, on the other hand, is the top class – elaborate, time-consuming and made by hand.
It's also the only leather in the world that doesn't react at all to copper . This used to be crucial for leather trousers with genuine copper buttons; today it's a huge advantage for watch straps: no discoloration on the wrist, no tarnishing of the watch, maximum durability.
On the underside, we use vegetable-tanned cowhide – robust and skin-friendly. Together, we create a bracelet that combines tradition, craftsmanship, and true Bavarian identity.
In the three classic colors of lederhosen, handmade in our factory in the Bavarian Forest. Perfect for Oktoberfest, any folk festival—or simply for everyday wear when you want to make a statement.
A watch strap like no other – born of true tradition, made from genuine Lederhosen leather.
The name “Sämisch” comes from the Dutch “Semie” – and means nothing other than: very soft.

Explanation of spring bar selection
Spring bars are small metal pins with a spring mechanism.
They are used to attach the watch strap to the watch , ensuring the strap stays securely in place.
The specification (⌀ 1.8 mm) simply means: This is the thickness of the spring bar .
In many cases, the old watch strap still contains a spring bar .
If it's still in good condition, you can simply take it out of the old tape and reuse it in the new tape .
If you need a new one, there are three options:
Quick-release spring bars:
The easiest way. There's a small lever on the bridge that allows you to change the strap without tools, using only your fingers .
Ideal if you change your watch strap frequently.
Standard spring bars:
This is the standard version .
You will need a spring bar tool for installation.
Curved spring bars:
These bridges are slightly curved .
They are used when the watch case sits very close to the strap . This gives the strap a little more room and prevents it from rubbing against the case as much . This is the case, for example, with many newer Rolex models .
All our spring bars come from the German manufacturer Rowi . Although the company no longer exists, we were able to acquire a large portion of their remaining stock.
This allows us to continue offering spring bars of very high quality .
