With the Bastille we combine classic elegance with true craftsmanship.
We craft this strap from the finest Barenia leather from the renowned Haas tannery in France—a leather that has been considered a benchmark for luxury, softness, and natural beauty for decades. Barenia is characterized by its smooth surface, warm luster, and ability to develop a refined patina over time, making each strap unique.
For the inner lining, we use Zermatt calf leather , also from Haas. It's soft, skin-friendly, and sweat-resistant—ideal for everyday comfort. The result is a bracelet that not only feels luxurious but also lasts.
We cut, sew, and finish each Bastille by hand in our factory in Germany. The all-round tone-on-tone seam and the stainless steel clasp by Craiss represent precision, stability, and craftsmanship designed for longevity.
Available in dark brown, black and light brown and in widths of 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm and 21 mm , the Bastille fits perfectly with both classic and modern watches.

Each of our straps in the online shop is made by hand in our small factory in the Bavarian Forest.
How do I care for the leather strap?
Avoid prolonged contact with water, sweat and direct sunlight. Occasionally use a special leather care cream to keep the leather supple and extend its lifespan.
Can every strap be fitted with a folding clasp? How do I order the right size? And can you fit the folding clasp straight away?
Any tape with a thickness of less than 4mm
can be mounted on a folding clasp. To find the right size of the
folding clasp, the course of the strap is the second number
important.
If the band is 20/16mm
you would need a 16 mm folding clasp.
We could also replace the folding clasp
To do this, you simply need to make a note during the ordering process

Are the leather bracelets allergy-friendly
Our bracelets are made of natural materials that are generally well tolerated. The insides are often made of hypoallergenic vegetable tanned leather.

How long does a leather strap last?
The lifespan of a leather bracelet depends on use and care. If well cared for, a bracelet can last for several years, but will show natural signs of wear after a while with daily wear.

The bastille is an excellent strap, I already had one in Dark Brown. However other parrt of our order which was for a 16mm Toledo strap, which was for my wife's watch was disappointing because it didn't have enough holes in the strap, so I needed to make an additional one which is problematic without the a proper hole punch.

The strap material quality is good and its manufacturing is fine. Beware that the color is darker than what you would expect when seeing the pictures (more "milk chocolate" than "honey"), at least upon reception (I hope patina will help). Also, I only had one size option when ordering and had to drill a couple holes more to get it tighter.
